We have been working in Greece for almost 9 months and have bear witness to the turbulent crisis, its changes and impact on our fellow human beings fleeing their homelands. Each of us has the power to inspire change and improve the lives of refugees in Greece. It takes a collaborative effort from both the field and home teams to sustain our work.
Whether you have just a few hours or seek a long-term opportunity, every volunteer’s efforts truly enrich the lives of the individuals we serve. Unless stated otherwise, all positions are voluntary and unpaid.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Are you passionate about advocating for the refugees and have a knack for writing?
We are looking for someone with a PR/Communications background who is a native English or German speaker to support our communication efforts, involving blog posts, and managing the facebook and twitter accounts.
The position is virtual (can be done from anywhere in the world) and it will take approximately 5-10 hours a week.
On the Fundraising team:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to boost our fundraising efforts and also look into foundation acquisition and management. You will be working alongside our existing team in ensuring that our efforts in Greece remain effective.
Position is ideally based in Zurich. The work is very flexible and you should budget in about 5 hours per week of your time.
